My childhood was full of laughter, dancing, and growing up with my Mom as my best friend and biggest fan. She used to take me to her radio studio as a child, and I was fascinated by the broadcasting industry.
After graduating from college I knew I wanted to use my voice and wit to help and inspire others. I started law school and motivational writing but knew my calling was in radio and television.
It is not an easy industry to break into, but it's very rewarding. Their is something great about spreading positive energy on such a large scale. If you can make someone laugh in the morning and put them in a good mood, chances are they'll be nicer to everyone they encounter that day, and so on.
In addition to my professional interests I also love to cook, run, cheer on the Trailblazers and play with my puppy Rosie (named after the Rose City) in Portland, Oregon.
